Housing
Introduction
If you are thinking of moving away from home and living by yourself, take a look at our leaving home page.
If you are homeless or about to become homeless, the homelessness page explains how you can get help and what your rights are.
The housing contacts page lists national and local organisations that can help with housing and homelessness issues, including local council contacts in Wolverhampton.
For more information on housing issues, you can read the information on housing and young people on the Citizens Advice website.
You can also find out more information about Community Legal Advice on the Direct Gov website which also has links to lots of useful housing sites. The Community Legal Advice service also runs a free helpline, for people who qualify for legal aid, on 0845 345 4345. You can find out your rights and gain legal advice about issues to do with housing and homelessness by using this helpline.
Local council websites also have information on housing rights. See 'local contacts' in the housing contacts section.
