Introduction to Learning & Training
When you are making your choices the main routes on offer are:
- General Qualifications for example GCSE or A Level courses
- An Apprenticeship
- A Traineeship
- Work-related qualifications
- Employment with Training
If you are not ready to take a qualification yet, your school or college will offer you an individual learning course to help you to improve your maths and English skills or to get you ready for employment, further learning or to give you independent living skills.
All qualifications are grouped into different levels - so you can see where you are now and what sort of courses you might aim for next. There are more details on Gov.uk.
To search for Higher Education courses (18+) both in our local area and throughout the UK - see the UCAS site.
